When in Rome do like the Romans, well we tried to at least. Hopped on a plane and arrived in Italy’s capital to familiarise the locals with our brand Krasimira Stoyneva. The creative stylist Dana Verri was an excellent host and showed us around the capital’s most historical sites such as the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon. We obviously ate a lot of pasta and pizza but also had delicious coffee from the Sant' Eustachio Il Caffé.
The purpose of the trip was to be a part of a spectacle of fashion, photography, design and food. "Margutta Creative District" is a project visualized by Antonio Falanga and Grazia Marino in galleries, courtyards and hotels of the magical narrow street of Via Margutta. Via Margutta has always been popular for its ties with the world of art and artists. This creative district hosted the creations of 8 different high fashion and jewellery brands and we were lucky enough to be a part of such a multifaceted event.
Our products where shown in the Russo Art Gallery Rome, one of the most international locations in Italy and in the space of Sesto Senso Art Gallery, a space that loves promoting new creative individuals. Below is one of our jackets displayed in the gallery.
Among the most prestigious events of the three-day exhibition was a private view of the Atelier of Pablo Picasso, which opened the doors of his studio where he created the scenography of “The Parade”. As an exclusive tribute, Krasimira Stoyneva created a unique Picasso jacket plus presented a live cutting and artistic designing of the jacket in the gallery for people to watch.
